Symbaloo

Picture
Symbaloo (http://www.symbalooedu.com/) is a relative newcomer on the block. It's very visual and easy to assemble. You can share your own and access sites created by others. Symbaloo uses colors, symbols, and proximity to organize its sites within.
  • Example: http://edu.symbaloo.com/shared/AAAACIlYlKMAA42Agc6SaQ==
  • Awesome student use of Symbaloo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEls3tq5wIY (This is what a digital conversion is all about!)

VIDEOS:
  • Symbaloo - Part 1 (3:27)
  • Symbaloo - Part 2 (5:21)
  • Symbaloo - Part 3 (6:24)

One thing I did NOT show in my videos is use of the Symbaloo bookmarker.
  • See http://blog.symbaloo.com/bookmarker-en/ Scroll down to the bottom for a video on how to use it. There is also a “bookmarklet” you can add to your toolbar instead, if you prefer. It works just the like the one in Draggo. It will work in any browser, not just IE as shown on that page.
  • Also, they just added "Tile Grouping" where you can put tiles into a folder. Nice new feature! See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBFM0Vp5T0c
